Simon Kessler is a French filmmaker, writer and Director of Photography based in Paris .

He has worked on many documentaries for french and international networks such as National Geographic, Disney+, TF1, Canal+.

In 2019, his documentary AF447: In Search of Flight AF447 has been featured by the Guardian, France Inter, Radio-France International and Radio-Canada. In 2020, his documentary Generation Greta was selected in many film festivals around the world and won several awards.

In addition to his television work, Simon has directed a number of creative documentaries. His personal practice privileges intimate portraits of people, places and institutions in intersticial moments.

Simon has worked and lived in the US, Canada, and Australia.
